Reindeer CMS – Content Management System
Reindeer CMS is an ongoing personal project focused on creating a lightweight, practical, and user-friendly content management system for small websites. The goal is to make website management straightforward without unnecessary complexity or complicated setup procedures.
The project is built with PHP 8+ and MySQL/MariaDB. It includes an administration panel for managing pages, blog posts, portfolio items, media, navigation menus, themes, and plugins. It also features a custom-built visual HTML editor, SEO tools, and scheduled publishing.
Reindeer CMS is currently undergoing a major architectural redesign. The upcoming version 1.0 will use static HTML publishing for public websites while retaining a database-driven administration system. This approach aims to improve performance, security, and reliability while keeping content management simple.
The project continues to evolve as I develop new features, improve existing functionality, and refine the overall user experience.
